What kind of points are needed for hotel or airfare? I've been to the CU website and don't find even a ballpark figure and unless I've already got a card they won't tell me. We currently have a Hilton rewards and don't want to switch if the rewards aren't comparable.

Airfare starts at 30,000 pts which gets a guaranteed round trip ticket to anywhere in continental 48, if the guaranteed ticket doesn't work then you can redeem the points and receive a $325 credit towards the purchase of any ticket. You can get tickets to other destinations, however the points required will be higher. Bookings are done through the CU Rewards Website.

Hotels offered are Hyatt, Marriott, and Ritz-Carlton and 1 night at Hyatt starts at 11,250 and there are many different 1-3 night stay options.

The credit limit varies depending on a review of the information you provide when you apply for a card.

How do you redeem the points for cash back. The CU Rewards website says points are not redeemable for cash or credit under the rules and conditions clause.
